Hi, my name is Larry, and my wife Carolann and I are the new owners of Pikes Perk Coffee Roasters & Wholesale. Pikes Perk is a Colorado Springs institution and has been in business for over 20 years providing folks with locally roasted craft coffee since before “craft” was even the oft-used term it is today.
Carolann and I are long-time Colorado residents as well as avid backpackers and hikers. When it came time to update our label we wanted to infuse our love for the mountains into our branding. When people think of Colorado they think of the Rocky Mountains and when folks visit the Colorado Springs area, the presence of Pikes Peak is simply awe inspiring. When Carolann and I think of Colorado we think of the 44 Federally designated roadless Wilderness Areas, the thousands of miles of hiking trails, and the countless backpacking opportunities.
And though we might be quick to slap a new color label on our coffee or revamp our website, we’re choosing to retain the roasting profiles developed over the past two decades that Colorado Springs has enjoyed for the last 20+ years.
